adidas Crazy Explosive Low PRIMEKNIT: Worth It Over the Regular Low?

So I made a quick article on the new Crazy Explosive Low and what has changed from the Mid. You should also keep in mind that there’s a Low Primeknit version too. And even if the difference is only one, let’s still talk about how the shoe feels and if it’s worth purchasing over the regular Low.

So here’s everything you need to know about the adidas Crazy Explosive Low Primeknit!

And if you’re looking for that full review on the shoe, check out the review of the Mid.

THE TECH

BOOST

Obviously, the exact same setup – full-length BOOST cushion at its absolute best.

PRIMEKNIT

A pure Primeknit upper that adds that luxury feel to the shoe’s fit, and price.

FIT

TRUE TO SIZE, MAYBE EVEN BETTER THAN THE REGULAR

So they obviously fit pretty much identical to the Mid Primeknit. Amazing one-to-one fit, softness, comfort, ventilation, mobility. Everything you’d possibly want from a comfort perspective, and then some.

Now this being a low top, your ankle is exposed and fans of lows will absolutely ADORE these. These have one of the best lockdown & containment from a low I’ve ever played in. And you get that Primeknit feel which is pretty much like a damn sock. So you barely feel anything while playing.

PERFORMANCE

1% BETTER

That’s exactly how I would compare these to the regular Low. If you’re expecting huge performance and comfort upgrade from the regular upper, than you’ll be surprised.

Everything plays exactly the same, expect a few tiny details.

I guess I felt a bit more ventilation since Primeknit is way more open and thinner. They’re of course a bit lighter and overall mobility can’t really be topped on a Primeknit shoe.

FINAL VERDICT

BEST FOR ANY GUARD WHO LIKES LOWS

Once again, just like the regular low, this is the Crazy Explosive Primeknit Mid in a low top form factor.

+ COMFORT IS LIKE NO OTHER SHOE
+ SUPER SOFT AND BOUNCY, YET STABLE CUSHION
SOLID SUPPORT & LOCKDOWN WITH LOTS OF MOBILITY
TRACTION AND THE UPPER IS WEAK FOR OUTDOOR PLAY

Okay, that’s it for the review! I hope you found it useful!
