Adidas is allowing you to step up for Mother Nature with their version of Ultraboost sneakers made in cooperation with Parley for the Oceans. Adidas Ultra Boost x Parley Legend is an eco-friendly version of the Ultra Boost sneaker, featuring an ink and carbon Primeknit upper, black hardware and white Boost cushioning.
The Ultraboost running sneaker line is a popular Adidas silhouette. The Boost cushioning technology was leveled up to maximize energy return, making it highly responsive to movement. The Ultraboost heel cradles the foot, and this sneaker has a Fitcounter heel design that can give the Achilles tendon (check out shoescaretotal blog post for the best running shoes for Achilles tendinitis) freedom to move. The Stretchweb outsole flexes naturally and bounces energy back as you run, while the Continental Rubber outsole and the Stabilizing Torsion system provides superb traction. Based on general user reviews, the underfoot cushioning certainly is comfortable.
To support the performance of the Ultraboost heel, the upper is made of a foot-hugging Primeknit upper that adapts to the shape of your foot as you run. It wraps up the foot to provide support and ultralight comfort. The Primeknit upper is also enhanced to improve air flow in key sweat zones, like under the cage and forefoot.
The design of the Adidas Ultra Boost x Parley Legend is mostly similar to its forerunner, the Ultra Boost model. It has a tongue-less construction, and the midfoot panels feature the Adidas stripes.
