Best AIR JORDAN Basketball Shoes: Top Performance Picks of the Premium Brand

Air Jordan is a premium brand and they sure got premium prices on their basketball shoe models. However, you shouldn’t be afraid of some and today I’ll share with you my personal list of the best Jordan basketball shoes. This list has models from the most recent years for the sake of buying convenience.

Six shoes that all have good all-around performance, comfort and materials. Here are the six best Jordan basketball shoes!

1) Air Jordan XXXIII

The Air Jordan XXXIII is one of the most anticipated basketball sneakers of 2018 and so far, it seems to have met the expectations of users who are eager to try the newest shoe technology. Air Jordan is set to radically change the sneakers game by revealing that newest technology called FastFit, which foregoes the use of traditional shoelaces.

The FastFit system consist of a series of cables that are connected to a single strap at the forefoot. The shoe’s oversized tongue and heel allow for ease of entry. Pull the tab in just one motion, and the shoe will do the “locking down” part to your foot, giving it the perfect and snug fit. This works similarly to the HyperAdapt 1.0 sans the laces. This shoe will serve perfectly to all types of athletes with different sneaker needs.

2) Air Jordan XXXII

Since it was first released in 2017, the Air Jordan XXXII has spawned a handful of colorways, the latest being “Finale” (which came out in July 2018). The comfort that it provides makes the Air Jordan XXXII easy to wear on and off the court.

Many users have noted that the shoe’s separate Zoom Air cushioning units even provide better comfort than the full-length Zoom Air present in its predecessor, the Air Jordan XXXI. Its traction is a big improvement from the traction of previous Air Jordan’s by using rubber that provides a firm grip on the floor – and hey, it does grip quite well.

3) Air Jordan XI Low

The Air Jordan XI Low debuted in the mid-1990s but its patent leather version only made its retail launch in 2011. The latest Air Jordan XI IE (International Exclusive, that is) release this 2018 is the “Volt” colorway. Users have reported overall satisfaction with this shoe, and many love its retro look and quality. The ventilation panels offer breatheability to the foot.

4) Air Jordan 13 Retro Low

The Air Jordan 13 Retro Low was designed by Tinker Hatfield, taking its inspiration from a black panther that is reminiscent of Michael Jordan’s playing style. There are about 46 releases to date, including the latest ones released this year like Carmelo Anthony “Class of 2002.”

The shoe’s Zoom Air unit at the forefoot and heel may not as bouncy as the cushioning of the previous Air Jordan 12, but it otherwise provides responsive, resilient and comfortable cushioning. The traction provides limitless coverage on the basketball floor, allowing you to make certain moves (like lateral and front-to-back movements) with just a little restriction.

5) Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG

The Air Jordan 1 remains one of the most iconic sneaker silhouettes ever. It is primarily known for its classic colorways, “Chicago” (red-white-black) and “Banned” (black-red).

The legacy of the Air Jordan 1 endures with the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. This year, the shoe has witnessed a lot of colorways — they range from “Shadow” (black/white-medium grey) to “Yellow Ochre” (summer white/black/yellow ochre). Getting past the retro aesthetics, the shoe is still very much playable. It is constructed of full leather on the upper and rubber on the midsole and outsole.
