Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 “Triple White” and “Black/White” editions

The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 model is known for being the first self-lacing sneaker that is readily available for retail. The first edition was first released on December 1, 2016 in limited quantities and was sold in just a few select Nike retailers. It debuted at $720 a pair, making it the most expensive sneaker ever, just yet.

Since the release of the first HyperAdapt 1.0, other several editions followed, still in limited quantities for the same pricing. And just recently, Nike HyperAdapt comes to the fore once again with its release of “Triple White” and “Black/White” colorways. Last February 23, Nike unveiled these two classic colorways.

The “Triple White” colorway is quite self-explanatory, boasting all-white aesthetics that give off a fresh, clean and spiffy look just in time for the spring and summer season. The iconic Nike “Swoosh” logo matches the all-white silhouette on the sides, the insoles and the tongue on the left shoe. The stitched “E.A.R.L.” is on the tongue of the right shoe. The white outsoles complete the all-alabaster look. Like the previous iterations, the “Triple White” is also backed by the electro adaptive lacing system also known as “E.A.R.L.” as well as uber-cool futuristic blue LED lights that illuminate the sole arches of the heel.

The “Black/White” colorway, on the other hand, gives off a bit edgy yet still classic two-tone stylish appearance. Its features a black-and-white upper, with the iconic Nike “Swoosh” logo printed in white on the sides, the insoles and the tongue of the left shoe. The stitched “E.A.R.L.” is on the tongue of the right shoe. Like many iterations of the Nike HyperAdpat, the “Black/White” colorway has the signature auto-lacing system as well as cool blue LED lights in the midsole, and white rubber outsole.

According to the lucky few who are able to snag this expensive pair, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is a super-comfortable shoe, and they’re ideal to wear and walk on even for the whole day. It’s most likely because of its main selling point, the “E.A.R.L.” self-lacing system, that conforms to the shape of the wearer’s foot, giving it a snug and comfortable feel. You don’t have to struggle in tying up your shoes. Many reviewers have noted that the shoe’s unique technology can help people suffering certain diseases (like mild stroke or multiple sclerosis) who struggle with simple tasks such as tying up the shoelaces.

With just a tap of the button, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 “Triple White” and “Black/White” adjusts to the shape of your foot, and you’re good to go.

There are other previous iterations of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 that utilize the same auto-lacing technology and cool LED lights, such as the Nike HyperAdapt “Black/White-Blue Lagoon” colorway which was released sometime in 2017.
