The Nike Zoom HyperRev 2015 is a great selection for any type of player, let’s make that clear right away. Let’s see what these shoes have to offer, considering the super affordable price they got here.
We’ll have a look at its tech specs, performance, comfort, materials and decide if it’s worth the price.

THE TECH
You won’t get full length Nike ZOOM AIR here, as it has one unit in the heel and another one in the forefoot section. That doesn’t mean it’s terrible though, they’re pretty good.
Notice the FLYWIRE cables mounted to the laces. This time, FLYWIRE does it’s job exeptionally well (even though it usually does it well). With a pretty soft upper on top mixed with Fuse reinforcements, the FLYWIRE layer really compensates that and provides lockdown.
PERFORMANCE
FIT/COMFORT
They’re just as comfortable as most soft upper shoes are. The inside of the shoe is very pleasant to your feet and requires almost no break-in time. Moderate ventilation and a properly contained fit.
CUSHION
Cushioning is probably the weakest aspect of the shoe, even though it’s not WEAK itself. Of course you won’t get full-length cushioning for a low priced shoe. You can feel the units, but they’re not gonna be extremely soft, bouncy and powerful. A very “okay” type of setup that will fit most players.
TRACTION
Traction along with court feel is great. It has a multi-directional outsole pattern and pretty durable rubber on it. In result you could easily play with them outdoors, how long, I don’t know, so keep in mind that the shoes isn’t made solely FOR outdoor play. But they perform really well there, just not as for long as indoors.
SUPPORT
Support isn’t bad as well, although it has minimal features. The plastic TPU heel counter is relatively weak. But the strong rubber sole protects from rolls and the ankle collar’s material is stiff enough to hold your movements. Overall though, support is not the strongest feature of the HyperRev 2015.
MATERIALS
A very welcome addition is the Fuse reinforcements troughout the shoe’s upper which is made of mesh. Similar to the LeBron 13’s, these pieces of Fuse protect the weak mesh material from deforming, so even though the upper is soft, durability isn’t that bad after all.
FINAL VERDICT
These shoes may be off the spotlight due to popular releases, but they are good enough to compete with them.
Looking for great traction and playing a fast paced game? They’re great for that.
Want shoes with a soft upper, but afraid of poor reliability? The Nike Zoom HyperRev 2015 has what it takes.
Looking for kick-ass sneakers to wear casually? Pick these up.
There are downsides of course. Cushioning could be more responsive and support is not too good. The decision is yours. But if you needed to sum everything up, then by all means, they didn’t disappoint.
PROS
+ FLYWIRE is really effective
+ Great traction
