There are four iterations of Kyrie’s signature series from Nike, but the Nike Kyrie Low is their first low-top version. Nike Kyrie Low is simply a scaled-down version of the mid, featuring a mesh-construction upper, molded spine, distinctive modeling on the upper, a Kyrie 2-like wrapping midfoot cross strap, a modified tooling with Zoom Air cushioning and a curved sole unit.
The shoe offers an aggressive traction, and the curved outsole can make your every move quicker and bit more agile. The traction pattern above the footbed can help you stop when doing some hard cuts. The cushion is has two bottom-loaded Zoom air units surrounded by Phylon foam. These work together to provide a responsive cushioning for crossovers and sudden stepbacks, while giving some balance of compression and stiffness. Its outsole is made of a solid rubber compound.
Other details one the shoes include a gum bottom outsole with a bullseye graphic (pertains the Boston Celtics superstar’s shooting prowess), Irving’s signature “KI” logo on the tongue and his trademark triangular eye graphic. Plus, its upper material is thin enough to absorb moisture and keep the feet dry.
