WHAT WILL REMAIN THE SAME
The Jordan XX9 was so good that major NBA athletes, such as Russel Westbrook (who is a big fan of the Jordan XX9 and XX9 Low), didn’t feel like they need a complete rehash. By the looks of it, Jordan Brand will not change most things the last year’s shoe offered. The midsole will remain the same, Performance Woven material will still be used. Lastly, the overall design and shape will not be too different.
WHAT WILL CHANGE
FlightSpeed will be implemented along with ZOOM AIR cusioning, where on the Jordan XX9, FlightSpeed was known as FlightPlate. According to the designers, this will easily be the best cushioning setup the Air Jordan shoe line has ever seen. Powering the whole chassis, each step will be provided with energy thanks to FlightSpeed and ZOOM AIR.
A variety of different visual changes will be implemented. Jumpman logos will be in different spots, such as on the toe box, markings and other misc. changes.
Traction will have a different, 3D printed pattern to fully suit Russel Westbrook’s personal needs.
Materials will be improved. Along with Performance Woven, knit and custom printed materials will be used. Performance Woven will be used troughout the upper and knit with printed materials will be on the ankle collar for flexibility and breathability.
Other than that, other tweaks will be implemented to make this shoe possibly the best performing basketball shoe ever. We’ll see how it turns out.
COLORWAYS
Not much information on colorways is given at the moment. The Air Jordan 30 will debut in the ‘White/Black-Wolf Grey’ colorway, which is shown in the pictures. Some hints have been made that the next color will be ‘White/Black-University Blue’, which could release at the same time as the debut color or sometime later in February.

Air Jordan 30: FINAL THOUGHTS
This shoe is looking amazing so far. On top of the Jordan 29 frame, further improvements have been made. New traction pattern, FlightSpeed, the addition of knit and some others.
Everyone’s excited about this release. It is presented really nicely and it promises a lot. All our evidence that this shoe could be good is the Air Jordan XX9, which was fantastic. We have 10 days left until the major release and before that, all we can do is cross our fingers.
